Today, our class learned about XML, PDB and SMILES. It must be confusing seeing all this acronyms, thus I will also explain what the acronyms stands for. XML is extensive markup language, PDB is for protein data bank while SMILES stands for simplified molecular input line entry specification. Our assignment for today is to produce SMILES notation for 10 chosen chemical structures given by the madam.
